Chris Larry's 40th B-day, Part 3

The boys watched their first Kentucky Derby. We were rooting for horse number 3 or so Otis led me to believe.

Sam was transfixed. We didn't win though.

Back to the lake.

Within minutes, Coogen had caught a fish.

Before we left, it was pinata time. As always, the boys were too reticent to participate. Charlie was ready though.

I like Elliott's style.

Amelia is ready for the martial arts.

Charlie got in one of the final thwacks as the boys looked on.

The party kept raging but we had to get back to the city. The boys took their stuffed animals and their Milky Ways and we hit the road. Thanks for the fun times, Chris, Mary, and Amelia.

Back to the dock where Otis showed us all how it's done.

Sam wasn't convinced that Otis knew what he was doing.

The boys weren't interested in going in the boat. Charlie and Amelia had no qualms though.

Still no bites.

Still no bites - not even with Mom's help.

Let the fun times begin.

Fishing with a net.

Rock throwing.

Stair climbing.

There's got to be a more efficient way to fish.

Amelia tried to convince the boys to come in.

I'm not sure why they needed to roll up their pants if they weren't going to go in.

I love this series. Otis insisted that he could show us three.

Amelia was like "Who cares about three?"

No, really - three is awesome. Three!

Sam wasn't impressed, Amelia was losing her patience, and Elliott was just happy to be there.

After cake, the boys needed to work off some calories.

After everyone left, Sam was finally willing to go into the bounce castle. Otis was very upset about it and tried to convince Sam not to go in.
