Stoop Party

Sujan and I came home from Opening Day to this cuteness. I don't even know what they were pointing at but I do know that Margo enjoyed being part of it.

At least for a little bit.

Otis had a very important thing to tell Tina. Sam thought it was hilarious.

Someone needs to let Margo have a truck! Someone needs to tell Sam to stand up.

Someone needs to tell Sam his hoodie is too small for him.

I love the way Otis is holding his like a trophy.

The Never Ending Spring Break

Otis calls this painting "Shapes" because it is the cover of one of their art books. They had a great time walking around the gallery pointing out paintings that they recognized and other ones that caught their attention.

After 10 minutes, the boys were ready to go back to their favorite spot in the museum - the Material Lab.

Sujan posted the Picasso picture on Facebook. Erik saw it and texted me to see if I wanted to meet up with him for lunch. We did and the boys were happy.

On the way home, more exciting things happened.

Parks, Art Class, Bagels, The Zoo, and Major Tantrums

Our second day back from our trip was an incredibly busy day. You can pack a lot in when you have two boys who were refusing to nap.

Morning park time.

Art class shenanigans.

The portrait of the artist as a pretending to be confused why his hands are so messy young man.

Sujan told me not to dress them in new clothes next time I take them to art class. Got it.

Major tantrum number one occurred right after art class. We got bagels per their request. When I told them there was nowhere to sit in the "bagel restaurant" all hell broke loose. 10 minutes later, things were more pleasant.

Afternoon
Zoo time.

On the way from the zoo to the second park adventure of the day. It was already close to 5 so I woke them up right after taking this picture.

Otis tried to emulate his brother from the day before.

Almost there.

Almost there.

Not frustrated, almost there.

I think he was contemplating going head first at this point.

The tantrum happened on the way home.

Sam's attempt to calm him down didn't work.

Back in Brooklyn

Park time.

Mr. Attitude

Sam perfected a new trick.

The view from above.

Sam set up for an oncoming train.

And like any good day at the park, it ended chasing squirrels.

Goodbye (for now) North Carolina!

Our gracious hosts had to go to school and we had to get ready to catch our flight. Otis is such a good houseguest - he cleans up right before departure.

And then he jams.

And sometimes he asks for quiet as he creates his latest hit record.

Seriously dude, STOP!

One last time to look for helicopters.

The boys left a goodbye note for Stella and I left it next to her doll that Sam was so in love with.

Waiting for the yellow bus to take us from the rental car drop off to the airport. They couldn't have been happier simply riding the bus.

Back in NY, we had to wait a few minutes before the car service arrived. The boys had no problem killing a little time.

More Fun Times in Durham

This was fun until Otis got hit in the face a couple of times. Sam practiced his moves.

100% Awesome

Someone needs to tell them that this isn't the way to play poker.

One of these children was more successful than others in building towers.

Ice cream!

Back to the house for some fun with helicopters.

Stella, Sam, the doll had fun with window crayons.
