The picture - not the booger.

The Fun Times Continue

After the zoo and a nap, we invited over some guests. Marc enjoyed the trolleys magazine with the guys.

Hey Marc - "Trolley, trolley, trolley, trolley, trolley, trolley." And one more thing. "Trolley!"

Elliott convinced the boys to stop being so obsessed with trolleys for a moment. Hey! It's Harry the Dirty Dog!

Soon it was time to go. Elliott wanted to give a fist bump. Otis demurred.

The boys two favorite games these days are some sort of Chase the Monster into the bedroom event and this - pulling an adult across the floor. They first played this game on New Year's Eve.

The next day, Jason came over.

Otis couldn't have been happier.

Feeding the Ducks and More!

Sam tried to get up close and personal.

Otis was in a hurry to greet all of the ducks.

Scavenging for more food.

Hey look - it's a kangaroo!

While Sujan Was in France, We Went to the Zoo

Baboon time because every zoo visit needs at least a minute or two with the baboons.

Otis pet a bunny. A big big bunny.

Hey, it's Elliott!

Scrambling for more food.

When did Otis get so brave?

Sam showed off his orange vest.

Otis and Elliott wondered why Sam was so far away.

Wait for Sammy!

The scoot.

It's almost like Otis ended the conversation once his brother came and ruined it.

Wait for Elliott!

City Bus!

Next up: Time to feed the ducks.

All Good Things Must Come to an End

Monday brought our visit to the lake to a close. But first, Chris had to cut the Christmas tree down.

He had an audience.

A girl and her pink guitar.

2/3 of The Dried Pears.

And then it was time to go. The boys packed up their Thomas carrying cases.

Otis and Amelia reminisced about their sleepovers.

Sam might have been jealous but Chris made him feel better.

And then all the kids attacked Yu. You can't even see her!

Otis got a hug too.

A Lazy Sunday at the Lake

The second day on the lake was a day that I didn't go outside. And neither did the kids.

The day began with a book.

And then it was iPad time.

Time to impress Yu with some fine piano playing.

As much as I love My Neighbor Totoro, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Amelia held court.

Eventually, it was back to the iPad.

The day ended like it began.

Once again, Otis and Amelia had a sleepover.

Sleepover Time

After we came back from bowling, Otis thought it would be a good time to learn how to read sheet music.

Here comes Sammy! "Look, I careful."

Two can play this game.

Sam left and Otis was sad. Either that or he was in the midst of composing the next Ebony and Ivory.

Getting close to bed time.

At first, it seemed like Sam would be game for a sleepover. But at the last moment, he chickened out.

Or maybe he just didn't feel like sharing Amelia with Otis. Either way, soon after this picture was taken, Sam was gone.

After he fell asleep in our room, we brought him back to Amelia's bed. Amelia as you can see, wanted to sleep next to Otis. A few minutes after this picture was taken though, Sam woke up crying and we had to move him back.
