Shoes on a Roof

SHR and I have recently become quite enamored with the Sunday Supper at Lot 2. But we rarely get a chance to partake because we are usually heading to New Jersey on Sundays. But a couple of weekends ago, we were home so we thought we'd go there for dinner. Sean and Rebecca were glad to meet us at the park before heading over.

After the tasty dinner (the boys couldn't get enough spinach and pork belly), Sean played a little trick on Otis after Otis had kicked off his shoes for the 743rd time in April.

Score!

Take that Sean!

Keep Away

After hanging out with Hugo, Kristin and I took the boys to the park.

Otis readied his train for a ride on the slide. Sam plotted how to drive Otis crazy.

And he was off!

Sam ran back around while Otis stewed.

Pointing at Sam wasn't going to get the train back.

Sam scooted in front of the crying Otis and slid down the slide with the train. James I think it was.

Less crying and more chasing is what was needed.
The chase was on. Otis was in hot pursuit but Sam (lower right) was already down the slide.

Noooooo!!!!

Kristin alleviated the problem by reminding Otis of the Legos that Sam had left in the stroller.

And then Sam did something he would soon regret. After Otis had gone down the slide, he sent James down ahead of himself. Otis was ready to pounce.

He was off and running before Sam had even realized that James was gone.

STAY AWAY!!! King of the Playground!!!!!

And then he ran to Kristin for safety. He refused to even look at Sam. Doo doo doo. Nothing to see here. Move along.

The boys made a new friend.

Otis checked out his new friend's sweet kicks.

They were running around like crazy people by the time I got home from school.

Up to no good.

Fire Engines and City Buses

An early April weekend.

Saturday
Fire engine! Otis was scared.

Sam was fine until he decided to copy Otis.

Their new favorite pursuit - watching traffic on the expressway.

Sunday
Brunch with Sean and Rebecca

Looking for city buses while holding a city bus.

You won't find a city bus in there.

Back home.

Happy Birthday Great Grandma!

I unfortunately didn't get too many good shots at Great Grandma's birthday dinner. But I got a few.

Aunt Amy kept the boys occupied before the cake came out.

Happy Birthday Cake!

The boys felt so exciting.

I also put together a 16 minute movie that we showed Great Grandma. Double click to enlarge.

Maryland Science Center

Hey, it's the Inner Harbor!

Hey, it's crabs!

Um ... hi weird hand Cal Ripken.

Sam couldn't quite believe that this weirdo was a Hall of Famer.

Upon hearing the news that Cal was a first ballot inductee, Otis wanted to shake his hand.

Periscope window closed.

Periscope window open.

Dance Dance Double Trouble Revolution

The boys and Grandma looked out at the boats in the Inner Harbor. Sam kept calling out "Bus!"

Otis and Great Aunt Chris.

Sam and Great Uncle Stephen

Time to punch it in with Grandma.

Sam wanted in on the action.

Hooray!
