Thanksgiving Morning

It was a relaxing morning. The park was nearly empty. And the boys and I celebrated my new camera by going to the park.

Otis found a toy stroller. Sam found it fun to climb up the slide.

With a little help, Otis brought his stroller up to the bridge. Sam jumped.

Pure happiness.

What happened to the stroller?

Oh, there it is.

Checking to see what would happen to the stroller if one were to let it roll down the slide.

A Fall Day in New Jersey

I miss being a stay-at-home dad. Yesterday would have been a lot more fun if I had spent it hanging out with the boys. Look how much fun a Monday can be if you know the right places to go.

The boys have been enamored with two food related things recently.
1. Dipping (Not pictured)

2. Trying to eat with spoons.

Otis has had better luck at it so far than Sam.

So in Love

The last time SHR was in France, Otis got some kisses from his pal Amelia. This time, it was Sam's turn.

Sam plopped himself on the ground and made eyes at his girl.

It worked!

Bliss.

A few minutes later, the couple shared a quiet moment in the grass.

What was Otis up to during all of this?

I don't know what makes me laugh more - the lovebirds or the oblivious to it all Otis.




Sam and Amelia were so into it, they toppled over. And Otis found a leaf.

Halloween, Part 2

Remember last year when we could actually get them to sit in one place without getting up?

And then it was time to head to Jersey. Sam played with more candy and couldn't believe that his grandparents were actually giving out whole candy bars.

Trust me Sam, it tastes better if you open it.

Halloween, Part 1

The night before Halloween -- Sam was ready! By the way, check out his dinosaur tattoo (not to be confused with his pumpkin sticker) on his hand. His first tattoo!

The day itself -- we went to Chris, Mary, and Amelia's apartment.

Otis hadn't even gone trick-or-treating but he was ready to give out some candy. The beauty of this is that he doesn't even know what's inside the wrapper. The boys are happy just to play with the candy without actually eating it.




Here comes the pumpkin!

They look so cute. I just wish they were willing to actually wear their hats. I miss last year when they were willing to model the hats.

First time trick-or-treating! We went to 3 or so houses.


They got the right idea here. But the next house, they decided to put their candy into the giver's basket rather than taking some. Oh Double Trouble.
