Backyard Playtime
The 4th of July weekend continued on into the 5th of July.
The Mary Larrys held an impromptu get together.
I'm not sure what makes me laugh more in this picture. The pretty bow? The background action? The proud walking with the shovel and the car? All of the above? Yes.
Elliott loves the great outdoors.
Amelia ordered Otis to practice a new Dried Pears tune she had just written. Unsurprisingly, it sounds just like a Yo Gabba Gabba song. Like father, like daughter.
Amy thought that if Elliott saw Double Trouble eating healthy food, then he would want some too. No dice.
Practicing for the beach.
As you read this post, Elliott, Double Trouble, Amelia, Frankie, Phoebe, and (hopefully soon!) Charlie are all chilling beach side at the Jersey Shore.

Bus!
All Otis in this post. Sorry Sam fans!
As you know, Otis has been obsessed with buses recently. But he hadn't actually ridden one since becoming so enamored. Jim and I decided to change that.
As the bus got closer, Otis got a bit confused. He's used to buses driving by, not driving up to him.
He spent the entire ride with this quizzical look on his face. That is - except for when we passed by other buses and he cried out "Buh!"
Park time fun.
The next day, I took the guys to the Brooklyn Zoo with Bart. I didn't get any good pics but I do like this one of Otis looking at the monkeys.
