After witnessing the brilliance of the toddler version of Pick & Climb, it was time to watch the real Pick and Climb. SHR picked. Then she climbed with Sam in tow.
Back to Kid Time. As always - Otis was doing his own thing.
Time for a little walk.
Otis made a break for it. I caught up with him after a few steps and then snapped a photo. He was pretty pleased with himself. Either that or he was really enjoying his cookie. Perhaps a combination of both.
Sam loves hamming it up.
And usually he likes the attention of Amelia. For some reason, he wasn't on this night.
Back to the pool table. Look at all those cookies that Otis had! He knew his ma and pa had had too many Double IPA's and took advantage.
Justin couldn't believe how many cookies Otis had in his hands.
Neither could Amelia.
Otis made another break for it. Chris Larry caught him.
Otis - still pining for a working jukebox.
Time to go! I think at this point, Otis had graduated to a cupcake. Someone would have been justified if they had called Child Protective Services on SHR and me.
Marc insisted on helping us home.
And then he entertained the boys by pretending to be a mime or something.
I got their bottles ready and then found refuge in the box that Sam had been playing in earlier in the evening. At some point, I must have slipped on my Crocs.
I took a number of pictures from the box. SHR changed the boys and put them in their pajamas. I tip my hat to her. I love the way Sam is looking at me and clearly trying to figure out what my problem was.
Oh no! Here comes Otis!
I heard later that Marc liked the pigeon book much more than the dirty dog book.
Marc took this one. Next year's Christmas card? Once again, Otis is doing his own thing.
