Winners of the 50 Yard Dash

Otis doing well during Tummy Time.

And then he rolled over on top of his brother.

A Happy Sam

Field Day - SHR, Jim, and the boys visited and met my class. How great is Sam's hat?

Otis in a stellar onesie. He's getting too big for the couch!

A Sunday Afternoon Walk

Little did Otis know how much fun he would have.

See? Fun!

Sam Eats His Hand

Being at work all day away from the boys stinks. Thankfully, SHR sends me many picture updates over the course of each day. This is one of my recent favorites.

Gunning For Ramon Castro's Record

Sam

Otis

Sam contemplates why his head looks bigger in this picture when everyone knows his head is much smaller than his brother's.

The boys wonder when their mom is going to give them another fauxhawk.

Otis smiles at the thought that maybe his head isn't freakishly large after all.

Calisthenics

Scratch everything I just wrote - look at that big head!

Assorted Cuteness and The Lost Season Finale

Otis keeps looking more and more like a little boy rather than a little baby.

May the onslaught of toys commence.

Otis isn't sure how he feels about Jack's reason for blowing up the island. Rebecca doesn't care either way - she's too enamored with O.

Sean explains how it is possible that there are two John Lockes.

Me, Dharma Initiative Beer that Sean made, Rebecca, Sean, Otis, Yu, and Sam.

A Sleeping Tickler

Otis sleeps but is secretly plotting how to tickle Sam.

He reaches for the tickle.

Sam wonders where the tickle is coming from.

Otis is sneaky. Sam doesn't seem to mind though.

Mother's Day, Etc.

One of the best things about having kids is that you get to pose them in funny ways.

When the boys were born, the parents in my class decided that a nice gift would be to prepare dinner for SHR and me once a week.

Last week, not only did we get a dinner but a Sam & Otis cake as well.

Otis wanted chocolate frosting, not vanilla.

On second thought, the thought of vanilla made him drool.

Mmmm ... vanilla.

One of our favorite things is to hear SHR's dad tell the boys ,"I love you." Trust us, it's cute.

Cousins Eileen and Carin met the boys.

Sam

The boys went to their first bocce match at Floyd. By the way, our team has not lost a game since the arrival of Double Trouble. We also won our first playoff game with the boys in attendance.

While the guys hung out in their chairs a few feet away, their mom destroyed the competition with lethal precision.

Mother's Day

Look - it's the Dumpling!

The Peanut and the Buddha

The boys and The Dumpling

This Mother's Day photo has recently become a Facebook sensation.

On Monday, Sam had to head back to the doctor's to have his iron level checked again. It was a visual cornucopia of delights.

That is, except for this hideous painting on the wall. Ugh. Why would this be on the wall in Brooklyn?

Sam's iron level is good again. Hooray for Sam. Hooray for me. I hate having to watch the nurse take blood from his heels.

Smiling and Cooing

Two months old is a good time to be a baby.

O and S

S and O

The last three are all Otis on the left, Sam on the right. Otis is so much bigger!
