One of the best things about having kids is that you get to pose them in funny ways.

When the boys were born, the parents in my class decided that a nice gift would be to prepare dinner for SHR and me once a week.
Last week, not only did we get a dinner but a Sam & Otis cake as well.

Otis wanted chocolate frosting, not vanilla.

On second thought, the thought of vanilla made him drool.

Mmmm ... vanilla.

One of our favorite things is to hear SHR's dad tell the boys ,"I love you." Trust us, it's cute.

Cousins Eileen and Carin met the boys.

Sam

The boys went to their first bocce match at Floyd. By the way, our team has not lost a game since the arrival of Double Trouble. We also won our first playoff game with the boys in attendance.

While the guys hung out in their chairs a few feet away, their mom destroyed the competition with lethal precision.

Mother's Day
Look - it's the Dumpling!

The boys and The Dumpling

This Mother's Day photo has recently become a Facebook sensation.

On Monday, Sam had to head back to the doctor's to have his iron level checked again. It was a visual cornucopia of delights.

That is, except for this hideous painting on the wall. Ugh. Why would this be on the wall in Brooklyn?

Sam's iron level is good again. Hooray for Sam. Hooray for me. I hate having to watch the nurse take blood from his heels.
