The boys were all geared up in their
Domokun attire to take their first road trip to MD.

It was a fairly uneventful drive for the most part until the changing diapers in the front seat misadventure in the CVS parking lot.
We finally arrived in Silver Spring. Grandpa Stone Groove was excited.

But he was also a bit tense holding the babies. He mustered the courage to hold Otis for about 2 minutes. Better luck next time Grandpa.

Later in the evening, SHR discovered that Amy and Donovan had had their baby earlier in the day. We showed S & O their new friend.

O & S: Already beginning to speak their own secret twin language.

Keri came to visit. Otis said hello.

The vegan decided to take a bite out of Sam.

Keri took the first family portrait. Who cares if it's blurry? We're so sleep deprived these days that everything seems a bit blurry to us.

Aunt Amy came down from Philadelphia to meet the boys. First up - Sam.

Grandpa Stone Groove figured he couldn't drop the babies if he's at least five feet away from them at all times.

Later that night
SHR and Sam looked so peaceful.

Otis, on the other hand ...

The next morning.

Upon arriving back home, the boys were ready to party.

Of course, we were all sad that my mom is still in the hospital and not able to see the babies. All she has wanted for years was for grandchildren to arrive on the scene. And now that they are here, she can't even see them. It really breaks my heart. Hopefully, she'll get better and will eventually be able to partake in the joy that is Double Trouble. Come on Mom, get better!
