A Spring Visit to MOMA

I took the boys to see some old cartoons at MOMA and then it was time to paint on the computer. Sam painted Citi Field. The red circle is the Big Apple that comes out when a Met hits a home run.

Always checking in with his brother ...

Otis posed by his creation with Luke Skywalker in hand.

What kind of look is this?

The boys' favorite sculpture at MOMA.

They love watching performance art pieces. I think they just like the iPad like screens and the headphones but who knows?

Hide and Seek

One fine April day, Howard, Erik, and I took the guys to the Prospect Park Zoo. It was fun.

But the real fun was on the walk back to the car. Erik led the boys in a game of hide and seek. Or more like Hide for a minute and then come out yelling.

And yelling.

And then running away.

More "hiding."

More yelling.

Run away!

Last Day in Texas

And like all good days, it began with juice boxes.

And playing with Lenny.

One more trip to the Zilker Zephyr. For the record, it was 3 train rides in 4 days.

That Twizzler looks huge!

We had fun Charlie! See you in Brooklyn soon, we hope.

Messing with Texas, Day 3

Smitty's! Otis didn't like that they didn't have forks so he used toothpicks. No need for a toothpick for ribs though.

Homemade wieners!

Alex and I both had the same idea. The first pic is Alex's.

Locked in.

Let's hide!

Alex watched the boys while Sujan and I went out for some awesome sushi. They had pizza.

More playing.

After dinner, it was drinking time complete with a playground.

I like the Otis look back.

Ganging up on Skippy.

Day 2 = More Train Time

Of course it did.

The guys discovered how much fun it is to walk along train tracks.

Cool guy Otis waited for the next train.

Sammy ran to catch up to his brother.

Here it comes Sammy!

After a few minutes of playing on the playground, it was time to get in position for the grand finale. Here it comes!

They watched the train come and then quickly changed position so they could see it go.

Afterwards, we took them to their first ever presidential museum. LBJ time. Sadly they weren't as into it as Sujan and I were the last time we visited.
